Naomi L. Okeneske, Age 91, Of Battle Creek, Died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, surrounded by her family. Naomi was born on October 16, 1924, in Clinton, IN, the daughter of James and Angeline (Fireeno) Pessetti. She had been a lifelong resident of the area and had been employed at Weston Biscuit before raising her family. On July 12, 1952, she was united in marriage to George E. Okeneske who preceded her in death in 1997. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Naomi loved to roller skate in her younger years and in her later years loved being with her family and her dogs. Surviving are her daughters, Barbara A. (Jerry) Ramos and Bonnie M. (Todd) Pushee both of Battle Creek; granddaughters, Jillian (Chris) Walby of San Diego, CA, Jennifer (Isaac) Pedelty of St. Louis, MO and Hillary(Brad Plott) Ramos of Chicago, IL; great granddaughter, Madeline Walby and one on the way; a brother, James (Olive) Pessetti. She was preceded in death by sisters, Linda Hagen and Mary Ughetti and a brother, Joe Pessetti. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
