Nancy Ellen (Kaye) Ohler, age 65, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 26, 2013 at her home in Tiffin, Ohio, after a lifetime battle with diabetes. She was born in Battle Creek, May 24, 1948 to Dorence C. (Kwasigroch) and Mary “Lillian” (Austin) Kaye. Nancy loved her family and friends and will be dearly missed. Before her illness, she was a caregiver for the elderly and nothing made her happier than to put a smile on their faces. She was especially proud of her membership in Alcoholic Anonymous and 8 years of sobriety. She was an active member of the “Trinity Episcopal Church” in Tiffin. She loved driving, visiting with family and friends, caring for her indoor plants and going to garage sales. Survivors include her sister, Marianne (Bill) Heine; special great nephew; Dave Chaney; nephews, Billy Heine, Rich (DeLisa) Robich; nieces: Mickey (Al) Simpkins, Margie (Tony) White and Patti (Pat) Kimmerly and cousins; Vonnie (Austin) Robinson, Mary Bradford Joy and Marti (Phil) Goodall and many great great nieces, nephews and couisins. Preceding her in death were her parents; brother Richard Joseph Kaye; sister Arnolene “Jean” (Perry) Harrington; brother in law, Earl “Jake” Harrington; nephew, Bob Chaney, great-nephew, Steve Chaney; first husband, Harold VanWormer and second husband, John Bryant; special friend, Barb Kopp and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A private graveside service will be held at Reese Cemetery in Springfield. Her brother- in- law Bob Heine will conduct the service.
