Michelle Green

Michelle D. Green, age 46, of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Borgess Medical Center. She was born June 4, 1968 in Jackson, Michigan. Michelle worked as a tax preparer for the past several years with Austin-Green Taxes and also enjoyed her time working at the Binder Park Zoo as a seasonal employee. On August 9, 2003 she was married to Kevin L. Green who survives. Also surviving is her mother Linda Rittle; children: Kristina (Joe) Grupczynski, Joshua, Trenton and Heather Seymour; four grandchildren: Faith, Kaden and Ella Grupczynski and Tucker Ganka; and her siblings: James (Brenda) Birmingham, Terry Berry, Wallace (Renee) Birmingham, Jr., Mela Morgan, Lisa (Richard) Smith, Todd Birmingham, Michael and David Mangogna. Michelle was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Wallace and Lois Birmingham who raised her. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Robert L. Zuhl officiating.
