Michelle Bulifant

Michelle Bulifant, a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away on January 27, 2024, in Athens, Michigan. She was born on October 28, 1962, the daughter of George and Hugette (Forgues) Catellier. Michelle's vibrant spirit and kind heart touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Michelle's career was marked by dedication and excellence. She worked as a Branch Manager at Blue Ox Credit Union in Battle Creek and as a Head Member Service Representative at Grand Trunk Credit Union. Her commitment to her profession and her exceptional skills made her an invaluable asset to both institutions.

Outside of her professional life, Michelle found joy in the simpler things. She had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed going for rides on their pontoon boat. Spending time with close friends brought her immense happiness, but nothing compared to the time spent with her beloved grandchildren.

Michelle shared a special bond with her husband Keith, whom she married on December 22, 1984. Their love story was one filled with laughter, support, and unwavering devotion. Together, they created countless memories and traveled to beautiful destinations around the world, with their trips to the Caribbean holding a special place in Michelle's heart.

One of Michelle's favorite activities was swimming and snorkeling in the ocean. The feeling of weightlessness in the water brought her tranquility and allowed her to appreciate the vastness and beauty of nature.

Michell graduated from Plymouth Salem Canton High School in 1980.   Later, she moved to Athens, Michigan where she made her home with her husband, Keith 

Michelle was preceded in death by both her parents.   She is survived by her loving husband Keith Bulifant; their son Justin Bulifant; her brother George Catellier Jr.; sister Suzanne Stewart; grandchildren Benjamin Saylor, Presley Saylor, Caden Bulifant, Emelia Bulifant, James Bulifant; and her parents, who will forever hold her dear in their hearts.

To honor Michelle's incredible life, a visitation will be held on February 9, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Philip Catholic Church located at 30 E Van Buren St, Battle Creek, Michigan. A Memorial Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made in Michelle's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
