Michael Chapman

Michael J. Chapman, age 64, of Battle Creek passed away on December 21, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on July 27, 1953 in Cloverdale, California, the son of Arthur and Margaret (West) Chapman.  Michael served in the United States Army from 1971-1974.  He was employed as a truck driver for many years.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family.  Michael was preceded in death by his parents; Arthur & Margaret Chapman, brothers; John and David Chapman.  Surviving are his wife; Brenda K. Chapman of Battle Creek, mother-in-law; Dorothy Vary of Battle Creek, son; John (Brandy) Chapman of Battle Creek, daughters; Stacey (Gerald) Lake of Nashville, Michigan, Amy (Mark Riste) Chapman of Battle Creek, brothers; George (Linda) Chapman of Homestead, Florida, Ralph Chapman of Coldwater, Michigan, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  Committal services with military honors will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Rev.
