Mary Wolney

Mary Anne Wolney, age 69, of Battle Creek, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. She was born July 14, 1948 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond Joseph and Dorothy Eva (Mezak) Wolney. Mary Anne was a graduate of Lakeview High School, earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Wayne State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was an avid reader. For over 15 years, she worked at the Kellogg Company prior to her retirement. Mary Anne is survived by her son: Andrew (Christina) Woolner of Waxhaw, NC; her three grandchildren: Landon, Hayden and Finley Woolner; seven brothers and sisters: Ronald Wolney, Jean Millard, Daniel (Mary) Wolney, and Sharon Wolney, all of Battle Creek, Linda Federico of West Palm Beach, FL, Judi Wolney of Detroit and Raymond Wolney of Lake Worth, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Joanne Bagwell, Pat Wolney and Kathy Hennerman and one brother Joseph Wolney. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
