Mary Shortridge

Mary Shortridge, age 78, of Battle Creek passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. She was born March 6, 1937 in Vian, Oklahoma the daughter of Herbert and Mary Anderson. Mary was a graduate of Tulsa Central High School and was employed as a secretary at Seismograph Corporation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On October 19, 1957 she married Douglas Shortridge in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Mary retired from the Kellogg Company after 30 years of service and was a member of the 25 Year Club. Surviving are her husband, Doug of Battle Creek; son: Charles Shortridge of Orlando, Florida; brother: James Anderson and nephew: Derrick Anderson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and son Mark Shortridge. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
