Mary Moore

Mary E. Moore, age 84, of Battle Creek, passed away on December 5, 2019 at her residence.  She was born on October 7, 1935 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Abram and Lena (Hyde) Bloomhuff.  She attended Battle Creek Central High School.  Mary was previously employed at the Battle Creek Inn in housekeeping and was an assistant activities director at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility.  Mary enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her family.  She was united in marriage on August 31, 1964 to Wilbur Moore, he preceded her in death in 1980.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, sister; Luella Bloomhuff and half-sister; Helen Hall.  Surviving are a son; David Moore of Battle Creek, daughters; Sandy Campbell, Connie (Robert) Moon, Sherry (Rick) McFellin, all of Battle Creek, sister; Barbara Allen of Mayflower, Arkansas, grandchildren; Tonya, Nick, Heather, Tracy, April, six great grandchildren, and one great-great  grandchild.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
