Mary Louise Miller, age 61, of Battle Creek, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 12, 2014. She was born May 18, 1952 in Selma, Alabama the daughter of the late Albert Caleb and Hazel Azerine (Strange) King. Mary attended the Staten Island Community College and the University of Denver, was a licensed paralegal and ordained chaplain with the Church of God, and retired from ATT. She was a longtime member at the Dexter Lake Church of God. On July 20, 1974, Mary was united in marriage to Michael G. Miller who survives. Also surviving are two sons: Eric Michael (Rachel Renee) Miller and their son, Caleb Matthew; Chad Mitchell (Katrina Louise) Miller and their children: Alexis Louise and Emmett Mitchell; five brothers and sisters: Skipper (Johnny) Johnson, Suzi Lottie (Andre) DeGraaf, Albert Caleb (Jan) King, Charles Richard King and William Arthur (Joy) King; many nieces and nephews and special friends: Ruth Bayn, Connie Berry and Sheri Bergler. The family will receive friends at the Dexter Lake Church of God, 1555 E. Michigan Avenue on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Dexter Lake Church of God.
