Mary Kwiatkowski - Herman

Mary Lou (Kwiatkowski) Herman, age 84, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at Lakeview Senior Living. She was born July 25, 1932 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Thornton and Rowena (McAllister) Davis. Mary Lou was a 1950 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and went on to work at the Eaton Corporation for 30 years retiring in 1982. She enjoyed playing cards and putting puzzles together with her family, attended First Wesleyan Church in Battle Creek and Calvary Bible Church in Kalamazoo, and was active in P.N.A. club #2416 and several women’s bowling leagues. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her first husband John Kwiatkowski, granddaughter Dara Kwiatkowski, sister Susie Thomas, brother Vern Davis and husbands: Jack King and Ralph Herman. She is survived by her three children: Mark (Marta) Kwiatkowski of Augusta, Dawn Niecko of Kalamazoo and Nancy (Troy) Cable of East Leroy; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister Lucy Davis of Battle Creek and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mary Lou will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
