Mary Louann Fales

Mary Louann (Harris) Fales, age 81 joined her beloved husband Robert William and her dear son Paul Jason in our Father’s promised Kingdom on February 19, 2024. Mary, the daughter of George and Dora (Pillars) Harris, was born August 26, 1942, in Peoria, Illinois, and the sister of Evelyn Foster, Lois Killian, William Harris, Juanita Pervine, Ray Douglas, and Gary Douglas. A 1960 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School, Mary went on to serve her community in Michigan as a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Indeed, she was married to her husband Robert in the church on February 9, 1979, and again when the happy couple was sealed for eternity in the LDS Temple in Provo, Utah. Mary worked at People’s Saving & Loan followed by the Kellogg Company where she eventually retired. She was the devoted mother of Jennifer (Caroline) Fales of Livonia, Jeffery (Julie) Fales of Battle Creek, Robert (Laura) Wilson of Orlando, FL, Kenneth (Yingshuang) Fales of Frazier Park, CA, and Jonathan (Mary) Fales Roseville, CA. Also, Mary was the grandmother of eleven grandchildren and great-grandmother of two. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her son Paul, and siblings Evelyn, William, Juanita, Ray, and Gary. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.   Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints, 1312 Capital Avenue, S.W. in Battle Creek. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery where she will rest with her husband. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association. www.henryfuneralhome.org
