Martha Moss

Martha L. Moss, age 82, of Battle Creek, passed away on May 25, 2020 at the Laurels of Galesburg.  She was born on April 30, 1938 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Robert and Beulah (Alexander) Morehead.  Martha was a lifelong area resident.  She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1956, then worked doing secretarial jobs for various companies in the area.  She enjoyed working in her flowerbeds, riding motorcycles, and had a love for cats and dogs.  She was united in marriage on April 6, 1990 to Darwin Moss, he preceded her in death on December 4, 2019; also preceding her in death were her parents.  She is survived by her children, Janice Pickford, Sheri (Fred) Dillard, Gregg (Molly) Galbraith, all of Battle Creek, sister; Roberta (Ken) Munro of Lehigh Acres, Florida, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the Memorial Park Cemetery chapel, Rev.
