Passed away September 14, 2018, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, and graduated from Scott High School in 1955 and moved with her family to Michigan. Marlene was employed at Post Cereals first in the factory and retired as a management secretary. In her younger years she loved to square dance and traveled all over the state to dance with her husband Kenyon Hansen. She loved to camp and crochet and be around family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves behind her son Kenyon Hansen; daughters, Lori (Mike) Briscoe and Beth (Dave) Case all of Battle Creek. Also, her grandchildren, Josh (Leah) Hansen of Zeeland, Branden (Brooke) Hansen of Delton, Christi (Rick) Tank of Fremont, Kati (Kyle) Force of Galesburg and Austin Case of Battle Creek. Great-grandchildren, Hensley, Rhet, Parker, Hudson, Ricky, Kenzi and Amelia. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenyon Hansen, daughter, Brenda Hansen and second husband, Roger Stanton. As per her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Union City, MI., at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018.
