Mark Parker

Mark E. Parker, age 59, of Climax, died Sunday, July 14, 2013. He was born June 6, 1954 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Gaylord Ellis and Violet Joann (Fuick) Parker. Mark graduated from Climax Scotts High School in 1973 and went on to work at the Climax Telephone Company. Most recently he worked for Frontier Communications from where he retired. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Climax Post #465 and was an avid outdoorsman. Fishing, hunting and trapping were some of his favorite things to do. He also loved his pets. Mark is survived by his sister: Robyn Parker Scott; brother: David Parker and his wife Pat; niece: Wendi Welch; step-kids: Chris Audette and his wife Laurie, Brandon Robrahn and his wife Jessica, Ryan Robrahn and Destini Wooden; and his best friend: Howard Erickson. Mark was preceded in death by his parents. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and friends are invited to join the family on Saturday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Climax American Legion Post #465 to celebrate Mark’s life.
