Marjorie A. Brandenburg, age 95, of Battle Creek, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. She was born on November 13, 1924 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Darcy and Agatha (Burgie) Wilson. Marjorie was a lifelong area resident and homemaker, raising six children. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and St. Joseph’s Altar Society. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and gardening. Marjorie was united in marriage on November 27, 1948 to Ralph R. Brandenburg, he preceded her in death on April 26, 2018. She was also preceded in death by sisters; Dorothy Hudson, Betty Brown, and son-in-law; John Lynch. Surviving are her children; David (Judy) Brandenburg of Kansas City, MO., Daniel (Nancy) Brandenburg of Fremont, IN., Diane (Charles) Hanton of Ellis Grove, IL., Denise Lynch of Murrysville, PA., Dennis (Jutta) Brandenburg of Sturgis, MI., Dale (Evelyn) Brandenburg of Yorba Linda, CA., brother; Edward Wilson of Fulton, MI., thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the recitation of The Rosary will follow at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., on Friday, November 13, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fr. Christopher Ankley, celebrant. Interment to follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
