Marion Rohrig

Marion Aileen Rohrig, age 74, of East Leroy departed to be with the Lord on Monday, November 2, 2020. She was born July 28, 1946 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of Gayle Hainer and Sarah Ellen (Burton) Gibson. Marion graduated from Battle Creek Central in 1964 and in the years that followed she was a dedicated caregiver to her mother. She married Thomas M. Rohrig in 1970 and began their family. Marion worked at Transamerica Insurance until she decided to devote herself to being a homemaker and raising her children. She is survived by her husband Tom of East Leroy; two sons: Brent (Jennifer) Rohrig of Burlington and Jason (Rebecca) Rohrig of Normal, Illinois; seven grandchildren: Brittani, Luke and Grace, and Isabella, Ava, Oliver and Elliot; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters. A private service with family will be scheduled at a later date.
