Marion Roggow

Marion A.  Roggow, Age 87, Of Athens, MI, Died Saturday, December 5, 2015, at The Oaks at NorthPointe Woods. Marion was born on December 28, 1927, in Assyria Township, MI, the daughter of Carl B. and Ola (Olmstead) Spaulding. She had been a lifelong area resident living in Battle Creek and then Athens, MI. She was united in marriage to Harold Roggow on July 3, 1945; he preceded her in death in 1991. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Marion enjoyed crocheting and being with her family. Surviving are her children, Michael (Mary Kay) Roggow of Columbus, Ohio, Max (Sheryl) Roggow of East Leroy, Susan (Don) Stemaly of Athens and Sandra Williams of Marshall, MI;11grandchildren,11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Bernita Cornwell of East Leroy and Carol ( Donald) Willis of Bellevue, MI. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mondi Stemaly in 1979. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 7:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
