Marilyn J. (Graham) Palmatier, age 91, of Battle Creek, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Evergreen Senior Care Facility. She was born on July 2, 1929 in Union City, MI., the daughter of Hugh and Vivian (Holben) Graham. Marilyn graduated in 1947 from Union City High School. She married the love of her life, “Only man for me” Robert D. Palmatier, he preceded her in death. Marilyn was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She loved her two daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren very deeply. Marilyn loved to babysit for them and for the neighbor’s children. She was a stay at home mom. Marilyn was a neighbor to her best friend in life, Kay Metz. Also preceding her in death are a daughter; Pamela (Ooten) Palmatier, granddaughter; Casey Eakins, great granddaughter; Seanna Eakins-Gray, and brother; George Graham. Surviving are a daughter; Sandra Elston, grandsons; James Eakins, Corey and Greg Ooten, great granddaughters; Taylor Eakins, Kaylynn Bentley, great grandsons; Isaiah Eakins-Gray and Ethan (Eakins) Bentley, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friend from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Masks are required of all in attendance, and a total of 25 persons allowed in the funeral home at a time. Private funeral services will take place, the funeral service will be live streamed and can be watched by visiting Marilyn’s obituary page at www.henryfuneralhome.org . Interment will take place at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice.
