Margaret Pharr

Dianne Pharr, age 73, of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born January 30, 1941 in Marshall, Michigan the daughter of Henry C. and Mary T. (Schaub) Parker. Dianne was a 1958 graduate of Marshall High School and following graduation began working in the office at Clark Oil Company. She married Larry D. Plushnik on April 11, 1959 and together they had three children. Dianne went on to work at the Eaton Corporation for 18 years, worked in sales for Damon Door and Glass and most recently worked for 10 years at Friends and Company. Dianne loved to play golf and was a member of the Riverside Country Club for over 20 years. She also raised Clydesdale horses, volunteered at the Balloon Festival for over10 years and liked to play cards. On January 28, 1984 she was married to Thomas D. Pharr who survives. Also surviving are six children: Cindy (David) Wieas of Union City, Bill (Lori Renze) Plushnik of Ashland, OH, Ronda (Gary) Collyer of Union City, Gregory (Eva) Pharr of Augusta, GA, Jeffery Pharr of Anderson, SC and Melanie Scott of Houghton; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers: Fred (Berniece) Parker, Charles (Margaret) Parker and Robert (Jeannine) Parker all of Marshall; many nieces and nephews. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter: Linzy Monticello. Funeral services for Dianne will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with interment to follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time.
