Margaret Armour

Margaret  A. “Peggy” Armour, Age 81, Of Marshall, Died Monday, October 15, 2012. Peggy was born on May 4, 1931, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Louis and Mildred (Harden) Miller. She graduated from Kellogg Consolidated Schools near Hickory Corners, MI, in 1950. She worked at the Post Tavern in Battle Creek, Sears Roebuck and over 20 years at Meijer’s. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother to our 3 children, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was a very talented artist and enjoyed doing crafts and painting with her grandchildren. She and her husband remodeled many homes and was very good at decorating and did a lot of stenciling in several. She could always see the homes as they would look when completed. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard A. Armour; daughter, Deborah (Jon) Montague; sons, Michael (Anne) Armour and David (Robin) Armour; brother, William (Phyllis) Miller of Moore Haven, FL; 3 sister-in-laws and 3 brother-in-laws; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 19, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor Kelly Hadlich of Battle Creek Friends Church officiating. Interment will be at Banfield Cemetery.
