Marcella Kaiser

Marcella K. Kaiser, 90, of Battle Creek died Sunday September 9, 2012 at the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. She was born on April 15, 1922 in Huron Co. Ohio to Anthony and Rose (Westrick) Schreiner. Marcella graduated from St. Philip Catholic High School in 1940. She was employed by Security National Bank and then the City of Battle Creek. Her first marriage to Charles Mead Jr. ended in divorce. She then married Walt Crooks who preceded her in death and then she married John Kaiser who also preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Charles C. (Sharon) Mead III, of Union City, a daughter, Diane A. (Russell) Volke, of OR; and three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a sister, Ruth Perkins, of PA. Family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Friday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Saturday September 15, 2012 at St. Philip Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility.
