Madeline Eleanor Blocker, age 92, of Paw Paw, formerly of Battle Creek, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. She was born August 14, 1923 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Floyd and Hazel Mae (Struble) Patten. On October 25, 1969 Madeline married Robert L. Blocker in Battle Creek. She retired from the Kellogg Company after 31 years of service and was a member of the 25 Year Club. Following her retirement she and her husband moved to the family farm in Paw Paw. Madeline loved the woods and living on the farm. She enjoyed travelling, dancing and reading, and watching the Detroit Lions. Her family was everything to her and she is survived by her husband Robert; six children: Angeline (Joe) Carr of Flint, William (Christine) Penzer of Flint, Marianne Slick of Marshall, Theresa (Max) Daly of Bad Axe, Noreen (Mark) Worstell of Grand Haven and Denise (Jim) Hoyt of Ceresco; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Helen Buck and Bonnie Teachout. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Richard A.
