Lucille M. Parmelee, Age 93, Of Battle Creek, Lucille passed away peacefully at home, cared for by her daughter and granddaughter, after a brief illness. She was born to Herman and Cecile (Berquist) Capelle January 11, 1923. Lucille lived in Battle Creek her entire life. She married Richard Parmelee July 31, 1949. They were married for 37 years. He preceded her in death in 1986. Lucille was employed by the Kellogg Company for 13 years. She was a loving mother and housewife, and worked part time for Cricket Publishing, Robinson's Department Store, and Herpelsheimer's. She spent her retired years caring for her grandchildren and volunteering for her church, the Seventh Day Adventist Tabernacle. She was a good neighbor, friend, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Lucille loved to read, especially her Bible. She is survived by her daughter Cheryle (Chris) Moberley, grandchildren Erin, Aubrey, and David Moberley, and great grandchildren Andrew, Ava, Leila (Cox), and Michelle (Meister). A memorial service will be held at the Battle Creek Tabernacle Church on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 at 3:00pm. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Battle Creek Academy in lieu of flowers.
