Lois Gresly

Lois H. Gresly, age 78, of Battle Creek, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014. She was born February 19, 1935 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Hubert and Freda (Fearnow) Evens. Lois graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and had been a resident of the area for most of her life. She is survived by three children: Judith Ann Gresly, Sandra Ruth (Doug) Cohen and Bob (Sharon) Gresly; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her sister Dee of Tuscon, Arizona. Lois was formerly married to the late Garrett M. Gresly of Battle Creek and later William Esterly of Biloxi, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by a brother Corky and one sister Donna. Lois enjoyed reading, sewing and family gatherings and loved her time living at Bent Tree Apartments and all her friends there. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Linda D. Stoddard of Maple United Methodist Church officiating.
