Linda Kay White, age 74, of Battle Creek, passed away at her residence on May 12, 2022. She was born on July 10, 1947, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Russell and Juanita (Graham) Willey. Linda graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1965. She was previously employed by H&R Block, Keiper Corporation, Ermisch Travel, and was also a full-time homemaker. She was a former Cub Scout leader and bowling coach. Linda enjoyed sewing, basket weaving, crocheting, bowling, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was an avid fan of Detroit Tiger baseball and Detroit Lions football. She was united in marriage on January 3, 1967, in Battle Creek to Jan G. White Sr., he preceded her in death on September 15, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and sisters; Nancy Willey and June Ware. Surviving are her sons; Jan (Heather) White Jr. and Eric White, both of Battle Creek, sisters; Sandy (Tom) Carpenter and Robin (Gary) Fredenburg, also both of Battle Creek, grandchildren; Brady (Lindsey) Brogan, Lacey (Garrett) White, Shelby White, and Allison White. Memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Steve Olmstead officiating, with inurnment to follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
