Linda Jacox

Linda Sue Jacox, 62 of Battle Creek, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born January 28, 1949 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Robert Reid and Billie James (Yarbrough) Crawford. Linda was a 1967 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and was currently employed as a cashier at Wal-Mart. She had also been a cashier at Menards for several years and  loved to play pool, go to the casino and shop. Surviving are her son: Michael (Joyce) Powers of Battle Creek; three grandchildren: Michael James Powers II, Sierra Sue Powers and Christopher Owen; brothers and sisters: Michelle Tessin of Leland, Michigan, Renee Roberts of Torrance, California, Kent Elliot of Battle Creek, Michigan and Heather Jorgensen of Tekonsha, Michigan. Linda was preceded in death by her mother: Billie James Elliott and one sister: Debra Jean Shorter. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
