Leslie Delight Foust, Age 63, Of Battle Creek, died Wednesday June 21, 2017, at Bronson Battle Creek. Leslie was born on September 7, 1953, in Battle Creek. She was a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Harper Creek High School in 1971. She worked as a waitress for several area restaurants. She enjoyed music, Jeopardy, BBQ, gambling, classic movies, animals, A&W Root Beer and being with her family and grandchildren. Surviving is her significant other, Thomas Seabury; a daughter, Amy (Steve) Iozia-Sutton; a son, Sir Richard Foust-Iozia; grandchildren, Kylee Lietz, Sir Richard Iozia III, Andrew Iozia, Abigail Sutton, McKenzie Iozia and Cade Sutton; Brothers, Robert Foust, Ronald (Fran) Slaughter; sisters, Kimberly Copeland, Alisa Slaughter and Angela Mahoney; her father, Roy Junior Slaughter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Jo (Howard) Slaughter. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A visitation to celebrate Leslie’s life will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
