Leo A. Case, age 75 of Battle Creek, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at his home. He was born June 3, 1937 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Roland A. and Lena M. (Halder) Case. Leo attended school at St. Phillip and Lakeview High School. He retired from Post Cereal as a Millwright after 34 years, farmed in Newton Township for over 50 years and was a member of the Michigan Horse Pulling Association. On June 20, 1959 he was married to Judith Kay (Tule), who survives. Also surviving are five children: Catherine (Lane) Knauss of Coldwater, Edgar (Annette) Case of Litchfield, Todd (Kelly) Case of Battle Creek, Scott Case of Battle Creek and Jason Case of Burlington; thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren who he loved dearly and one brother: Darrell “Skip” Halder of Battle Creek. Leo was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Donald Case. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral with interment to follow at Newton Cemetery.
