Laura Grenier

Laura Leigh (Lori) Holcomb-Grenier, 55, of Battle Creek, died December 9, 2020 at Ascension Borgess Hospital. Born May 12, 1965, Lori was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek. She graduated from Pennfield High School in 1983. Lori worked as a homemaker, a food service associate, and a home health aide. She was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 299 for 35 years. She enjoyed camping, karaoke, rummikub, bingo, and all word and card games. She was always willing to help anyone and enjoyed cooking for charity events. Lori will be remembered for her big laugh and her loving, genuine heart.  Lori is survived by daughter, Marli Holcomb and granddaughter, Melayna Holcomb, of Battle Creek. Also surviving are her siblings: Mike (Patti) Holcomb; Becky (Clarence) Lewis; Cindy MacPherson; LaVerle Baker; MaryEtta (Ed) Stemaly; and Kevin (Debbie) Holcomb. Lori had dozens of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Marietta Holcomb.  Visitation will be held at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Lori’s greatest thrill was her granddaughter. Donations in her honor may be made to Melayna’s educational fund. Donations may be made out to Marli Holcomb at 1411 Capital Ave. NE Apt. 20, Battle Creek, MI 49017.
