Having led a good full life, Laura lost her valiant battle with cancer and slipped away peacefully in the early morning of Thursday, August 29, 2019. Raised on a small family farm, she started her professional career as an office administrator with AAA. After re-locating to Tennessee, she secured a very rewarding position in the H.R. department of the University of Tennessee and was very proud of being a retired “Lady Vol”. A very talented pianist, Laura loved music and dancing as well as gardening and cooking, and she really enjoyed spending time with her extended family. Laura is survived by her adoring husband, Clarence and stepson, Matt, as well as loving sisters, Janet Reber and Judy Elliott, big brother, J.D. as well as several nieces and nephews. At her request, no formal memorial service is planned. A small private remembrance a couple of days after she passed, and it was the perfect way to relive some of her happiest and most joyful memories. Laura Luv, although faded from our sight and embrace, your love shall never, never leave our hearts. www.henryfuneralhome.org
