Larry M. Tyndal, 70 of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away suddenly at home Monday, August 9, 2021. Larry was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, November 10, 1950 to Hiram and Dora Tyndal. Larry graduated from Battle Creek Central, Western Michigan University and University of Phoenix. Larry served honorably in Vietnam as a Fire Control Technician with the US Navy serving proudly on the USS St. Louis. Larry worked at United Steel & Wire for many years serving as the chief steward for UAW Local 704. Larry went on to work at and retire from the Federal Center in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Lois (Helton) Tyndal; son Tony Michael (Dawn) Tyndal; daughter Sheri Elaine (Ericka Browne) Tyndal; sister Linda (Scott) Moody; grandchildren Michael (Kambry) Weever; Brandee (Alex) Samuelson; Matthew (Alex) Browne; Jameson Browne; Adam Browne; Rose Browne; Clinton ‘CW’ Mosley; Jessica Rose and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers John Tyndal and George Tyndal; and beloved dog Paladin.
Larry enjoyed making far off friends on his HAM radio (KD8SBJ), fishing, hunting, working on cars, shopping for antiques, playing his guitar and spending time with his family. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 2 to 4:00p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2021, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
