Larry P. Sisler age 71, a lifelong resident of Battle Creek, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017. He was born on May 15, 1946 in Battle Creek to Alvin and Gladys (Marley) Sisler. Larry was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School in 1964. Larry was united in marriage on June 26, 2015 in Battle Creek to Patrice Trudeau. He was previously employed as a security guard for the Battle Creek Health System and worked as a DJ at the Postumville Pub, which he enjoyed doing. Larry was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Battle Creek, and a sports enthusiast and huge fan of the Detroit Tigers, Pistons, Lions and Red Wings. Larry always wished he could have taken over managing the Detroit Tigers because he said he would of gotten them to The World Series and made them a winning team. He loved bowling, and was especially proud to have bowled a perfect 300 game, watching movies, singing, friends, and spending time with his loving family and grandchildren. Larry is survived by his wife; Patrice Sisler of Battle Creek, daughter; Tammy Lopez of Clinton Township, step daughters; Jill (Dale) Laudenslager of Gwen, Amber (Jon) Harter of Plainwell, step-son; Eric (Nikki) Kulppi of Munising, grandchildren; Autumn, Luke, Jensen, Brad, Mylee, Maddy, Nikko and Kelly. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Dr. James Gysel officiating with interment to follow at the Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
