Lapreal Kelley

LaPreal Adelaide Kelley, age 89 of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014. She was born February 22, 1925 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Floyd and Roberta (Rapp) Rankin. Mrs. Kelley attended the Eagle School, was a charter member of Country Chapel United Methodist Church in Dowling and a member of the Bedford Lionness Club. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and her cats. On October 31, 1942 she was married to Frank F. Kelley who preceded her in death on April 5, 2014. She was also preceded by two brothers: Marvin and Thornley Rankin. Surviving are two sons: Ed (Joni) Kelley of Richland and Scott (Patti) Kelley of Dowling; four grandchildren: Brent, Sheena, Brody and Megyn Kelley; and one sister Roberta Parks of Clare. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Country Chapel U.M.C., 9275 S. M-37, Dowling, MI 49050.
