Lacy Jane Faber, Age 2, Of Battle Creek, Lacy Jane Faber went to be with our Heavenly Father while surrounded by her parents and close relatives. She passed peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2011. Lacy was born on March 5, 2009, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Tom and Mary (Lantinga) Faber who survive. She was a fun-loving yet spirited child, full of energy and mischief. She loved music, coloring, painting, dancing, swinging, singing her favorite songs, making music, reading books, being outdoors, going to the zoo and playing with her sister and brother. Lacy was known for her non-stop energy and ever-present smile. Lacy was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer at 18 months, but it never stopped her from enjoying life to the fullest. She lived in the moment and had an unbelievably strong will. Her joy for life was contagious and affected the lives of many. Her inspiring story led to being loved by many whom she had never met. With her infectious laugh you couldn’t help but smile when near her. Lacy gave her parents such joy. Surviving is a brother, JT(Jeffrey Thomas) Faber and a sister, Julia Faber; paternal grandparents, Jim and Mary Faber; maternal grandparents, Orvan and Judith Lantinga; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Lacy’s family would like to extend their thanks to the many people who provided exceptional care: KCMS Hematology and Oncology, Bronson Children’s Hospital, Mott Children’s Hospital and Cereal City Pediatrics. Special thanks to our many family and friends who helped us keep strong in our faith and prayed for us throughout Lacy’s fight against cancer. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2011, at St. Philip Catholic Church with The Rev. John D.
