L. Beebe

L. Eileen Beebe, Age 88, Of Battle Creek, Died Saturday, July 26, 2014, in Battle Creek. She was born on June 20, 1926, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Corey) Tuck. She had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Lakeview High School. On April 12, 1946, she was united in marriage to Carroll E. Beebe who preceded her in death on December 2, 1995. Eileen stayed home to raise her sons until they were in junior high then she went to work for Central Electric Supply as a book keeper for several years. She then worked for author and motivational speaker, Art Fettig for 5 years. She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, enjoyed cross stitch, needle point, reading and crossword puzzles. Surviving are her sons, Roger D. (Jane) Beebe of Ceresco and Kent D. (Lisa) Beebe of Galesburg; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Marian Prickett of Phoenix, AZ, and Pat Murray of Battle Creek; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the funeral home with The Rev. Dr. James M. Gysel officiating. Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Garden. Memorials may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675, the USO, P.O.
