Kenneth L. Hollman, 71, of Battle Creek passed away after a long illness Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Battle Creek Health System. Kenneth was born on October 24, 1939, in Battle Creek, the son of John and Irma (Morris) Hollman. He had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Battle Creek Central High School. On May 26, 1979, he was united in marriage to the former Marge Murphy who survives. Ken was employed at Eaton Manufacturing in Marshall retiring in 1994 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Battle Creek and the Moose Lodge in Marshall. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing baseball and softball. Surviving are children, Kenneth “Bart” Hollman, Kimberly Hollman, Mike (Emily) Hollman all of Battle Creek, and Julie Harris of Iowa; step-daughters, Tammy (Andy) Grimes, Jacki Murphy and Penny (Gary) Linsley all of Battle Creek and Kathy (Todd) Lilly of Georgia; a step-son, Terry Murphy of Battle Creek; 4 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 8 step- great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Corkins of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2011, at the Funeral Home.
