Keith Smeltzer

Keith Alan Smeltzer, 59, of Battle Creek, walked on February 11, 2021.

Per Keith’s request, there will be no public celebration of life.

Keith was born November 17, 1961 to Archie and Carolyn (Hamilton) Smeltzer.

He graduated from Union City High School in 1979. Keiths love of music was his life and he was an extraordinary drummer. He was a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.

He is survived by his sister, Catherine Smeltzer of Ann Arbor, and several nieces and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Archie (1990), and Carolyn (2017) Smeltzer, a brother Paul Smeltzer (2006) and sister Susan Smeltzer Lepper (2008).
