Kathleen Mchale

January 3, 1935 — June 16, 2017

Kathleen Cecelia McHale “Nanny” as she was known to all, was born January 3, 1935 in New York City, New York, to Myles Joseph McHale and Nellie Kathleen Turnbull McHale. She passed away in her sleep on June 16, 2017 at her home in Battle Creek Michigan, she resided in Michigan since 1988. She was a true New Yorker and lived a very colorful life. She loved her baseball teams the Mets and Yankees. She loved to read and crochet. She crocheted many hats for newborns for the hospital. Most of all she loved her grandchildren, Lisa Chase, Gary (Megan) Metheny, Shawn Metheny, Homi (Tyonna) Cruz , Denise Cruz, and Lorraine McHale. She was preceded in death by her parents Myles Joseph McHale, Nellie Kathleen (Turnbull) McHale, her siblings, Thomas McHale, Robert McHale, James McHale, John McHale, Eileen McHale, Patricia Brockus, She is survived by her two daughters Denise McHale and Lorraine Metheny and her beloved son in law Shawn Metheny, and her siblings Deborah Kies, Norman McHale, Martin McHale, Mary Gricco, Dorothy Hoffman and her brother in law Howie Hoffman who she loved dearly and respected. Her nine great grandchildren, Sophia, Miles, Ava, Leland, Amani, Brooklyn, Demi, Terry and Zion. In accordance to her wishes cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date. A special thank you goes out to her friends at Bedford Manor, her Doctors, Dr. Peck and Dr. Mar and their staff.  Arrangements by the Richard A.
