Kathleen S. Kennedy

Kathleen S (Wygant) Kennedy, 79, of Battle Creek, MI went to be with the lord on August 17, 2023.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Kathleen was born February 5,1944 to Fred and Mary (Chantrene) Wygant.

Kathy graduated from Harper Creek in 1962 and married Thomas Kennedy in 1963. She was employed at the Battle Creek Federal Center and Little Friends Nursery School.  She enjoyed Flower gardening with her friend, Chris, spending time with her family and going to their many activities. She was a member of Battle Creek Friends Church and was a Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of TOPS #260. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her sister, Ruth (Wygant) Sawyer and children, Laurie (Gary) Berning, Sharon (Lon) Bennett and Thomas (Christine) Kennedy II of Battle Creek. She is also survived and loved very much by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Kathy was preceded in death by her Husband, Thomas Kennedy, infant son, parents, Fred Wygant and Mary (Chantrene) Wygant and sister, June (Wygant) Conklin.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society.
