Karen Boston

Karen Boston  age 71, of Battle Creek, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016.  She was born March 12, 1945 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Weeks) Burdick.  Karen was a lifelong area resident graduating from Lakeview High School in 1962.  Karen worked for the Kellogg Company for 28 years, and was a member of the Kellogg 25 year club.  In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and boating, and was a member of the Battle Creek Ski Club.  She was married for 37 years to Charles E. Boston, he survives.   Also surviving are a son, Scott (Linda) Mackinder of Charlevoix, MI; daughter, Sheri (Timothy) Egbert of Fort Wayne, IN; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.  In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the Robins Nest, 16181  10 Mile Road, Battle Creek.  Memorial contributions may be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center.  Arrangements by the Richard A.
