Julie Wood

Julie Wood, age 65, passed away Sunday, May 16 at her home in Bellevue, MI. Julie
was born May 31, 1954, the daughter of Donna and Larry Hoedeman in Battle Creek.
She was a 1972 graduate of Lakeview High School and graduated from The Toledo
School of Business.
Julie spent most of her adult life in the Houston, Texas, where she was employed as a
Manager in the Travel Dept of BFI . She met her husband, Richard Wood, in Houston.
This marriage ended in an amicable divorce.
Julie loved animals and realized her lifelong dream to raise horses in Texas, and she was
an enthusiastic volunteer at the Chef Center in Richland, Julie was very personable and
a caring friend, always willing to lend a helping hand.
Julie is survived by her mother, Donna Hoedeman, two sisters, Bonnie (Brad) Morgan of
Battle Creek and Mary (John) Coniaris of Bloomington, IN. A niece,Brandy Morgan of
Battle Creek, nephews Larry Morgan of Kalamazoo and Lucas and Alex Coniaris of
Bloomington.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
