Judith Kay Case, age 75, of Burlington, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. She was born July 21, 1939 in Albion, Michigan the daughter of Edgar E. and Lula (Kidder) Tule. Judy was a 1957 graduate of Union City High School where she was a cheerleader and homecoming queen, and following graduation attended Western Michigan University. She has worked in the dental office of Dr. Morton and Dr. Christopher in Union City for the past 39 years. On June 20, 1959 she was married to Leo A. Case who preceded her in death on October 30, 2012. She was also preceded by her parents and one sister: Mary Joan Spieldenner. Judy is survived by five children: Catherine (Lane) Knauss of Coldwater, Edgar Case of Burlington, Todd (Kelly) Case of Battle Creek, Scott (Laurie) Case of Battle Creek and Jason Case of Battle Creek; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother: Ross (Linda) Tule of Union City; two sisters: Sharon (Lynn) Hagelshaw and Anna Belle (Larry) Spoor both of Union City; many nieces and nephews; and special friends: Tink and Clarence Swan of Powder Springs, GA. She loved her family more than anything and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Every Wednesday was either movie or shopping day with her sisters and sometimes her brother. Judy enjoyed spending time at their cabin on Houghton Lake, reading and cooking. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with interment to follow at Newton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the Union City Library. www.henryfuneralhome.org
