Joshua Grimes

Joshua D. Grimes, age 36, of Battle Creek, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Bronson Hospital. Josh was born April 27, 1983 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Jeffery D. Grimes and Tami Lynn (Shotwell) Peterson. Josh attended Gull Lake High School and enjoyed hunting and outdoor activities. Fishing, however, was his passion and he loved to share all outdoor activities with his boys. Josh is survived by his two sons: Brody and Brogen Grimes and their mother Lynsey Grimes; father Jeff (Julie) Grimes; mother Tami Peterson; brother Andrew (Kendra) Grimes, sister Megan Grimes and brother Blake Shotwell and his fiancé Kathleen Fitzgibbon; grandparents: Harold and Kathy Grimes; grandmother Sharon Sutton, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Josh was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles Sutton and a grandmother Nancy Perry. A Memorial Service to celebrate Josh’s life will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Zondervan of Radiant Church officiating.
