Joseph Leland

Joseph  Allen  Leland, age 49, of Battle Creek, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Bronson Battle Creek. Joseph was born on March 23, 1964, in Inwood, IN, the son of Donald and Mary Ellen (Hall) Leland. He had been an area resident for 14 years and was currently employed at Hi-Lex where he has been for 13 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, fishing and working outside. On December 4, 1987, he was united in marriage to the former Bridgett A. Bordner, who survives. Also surviving are their children: Amanda Jo (Jeff) Abaalkhail and Joe (Darlene) Huston-Hall; grandsons: Jeffrey and Rayan Abaalkhail, and Haiden, Hunter and Hutsin Taylor; his mother and step-father: Mary Ellen (Henry) Hudon; one sister, Beth (Bill) Fritter and their children: Kristen, Katie and KC; one brother, Scott Leland and his son Donald; numerous great nieces and nephews and dearest friends of 30 years: Douglas and Peggie Garrison and their children, Jennifer, Andrew and Justin. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Deacon Al Patrick officiating.
