John R. Marlowe, Age 61, Of Battle Creek, Died Sunday, November 25, 2012, in Battle Creek. John was born on July 21, 1951, in Marshall, MI, the son of John and Maxine ( Royer ) Marlowe. He had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Lakeview High School in 1969. He owned and operated the Third Base Lounge for over 25 years. John enjoyed being with his grandsons, playing pool, golf, driving his boat on Goguac Lake and going to the casino. Surviving is a daughter, Johna (Dr. Luke Daum) Marlowe; grandsons, Holden and Chase Daum; mother, Maxine Marlowe; sister, Kay (Steve) Schanzenbaker; niece, Sherrie Schanzenbaker, nephew, Steve (Lori) Schanzenbaker; several great nieces and nephews; ex-wife, Pam Marlowe; a special friend, Fran Kline. He was preceded in death by a son, Josh J. Marlowe on April 8, 2008, and his father, John O. Marlowe on May 10, 2009. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Richard A.
