John Burdick

John Oliver Burdick, age 69, of Bellevue, Michigan passed away at his home of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia on January 14, 2019. John was a man who was dedicated to his dreams. He was born on May 28, 1949, the second son to Donald and Sonia Burdick in Battle Creek, Michigan. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1967. He had an interest in horses and music and worked in construction. John married Laura Mack in 1968 and had two children, John O. Burdick and Michelle L. Burdick. John’s second marriage was to Carol Lynn (Vincent)Burdick in 1986 who proceeded him in death in 2014. Surviving are his two children, Lynn's daughter; Michele and her son, four grandchildren, two brothers, a sister and several cousins. He was preceded in death by Donald and Sonia Burdick of Battle Creek, Michigan. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 703 Capital Avenue, S.W., Battle Creek, MI., with a celebration of life ceremony taking place at noon with Rev. Paul S. Burdick officiating.
