Joey Bailey

Joey Lynn Bailey, age 69 of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, at his home. He was born January 15, 1952, in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Paul Franklin and Lucille Frances (Fields) Bailey. Lynn was a 1970 graduate of Hastings High School and a lifelong resident of the area. For over 50 years he worked at Isaac and Sons Carpet Cleaning and oversaw maintenance at Battle Creek Friends Church for the past 20 years. Lynn was a member of the 20th Street Church of Christ and enjoyed all things car related. Collecting, restoring and even drag racing at Martin. He is survived by his brother: Vic (Judy) Bailey of Battle Creek; two sisters: Penny (Gene) Davis of Battle Creek and Bonita Thayer of Kalamazoo; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Pastor John Grafton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
