Joan Wolf

Joan D. Wolf, age 83, of Battle Creek, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was born June 27, 1934 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Fred and Margaret (Anderson) Brandeberry. Joan attended Battle Creek Central High School and retired in 2004 from J.D. Grooming, a business which she operated since 1963. She also co-owned with her husband, Bob’s Lawn and Garden until 1977. A member of the Battle Creek Snowmobile Club, Joan was an avid four-wheeler and bowled on several leagues over the years. She was a former member of the Springfield P.T.A. and Springfield Booster Club. On September 23, 1949 she was married to Robert H. Wolf in Marshall, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister Donna Kopsell. Joan is survived by her children: Bob (Vicki) Wolf, Chris Wolf, Renea (Robert) Baker all of Battle Creek and Harold (Marsha) Wolf of Bellevue; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her life. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
