Jeffrey Gray

Jeffrey A. Gray, age 43, of Battle Creek, died Friday, December 5, 2014. He was born March 28, 1971 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of John Ernest and Marcia Lynn (O’Connell) Gray. Jeff was a 1990 graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to the Northwestern Auto Diesel College in Lima, Ohio. He had worked at Duncan Aviation since 1996. Jeff enjoyed hunting; fishing, cycling and in any spare time he enjoyed working on and painting cars. He is survived by his son: Cory Gray and daughter: Haley Gray (Mother Kelli Valentine) both of Battle Creek; mother: Marcia (Don) Sosinski of Battle Creek; brother: John (Jenni) Gray of Battle Creek; sister: Shelly (Tony) Gray Boxwell of Seattle, WA; three step-sisters: Koni Sosinski, Natalie Sosinski and Kathi (Matt) Hanna; four nieces and nephews: John and Katie Gray both of Battle Creek, and Owen and John Henry Boxwell both of Seattle, WA; and his best friend and beloved pet: Tyler. Jeff was preceded in death by his father. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Father Francis Marotti of St. Philip Catholic Church officiating.
