Jeanette Cope

Jeanette H. (Ringelberg) Cope, Age 98, of Battle Creek, Died Tuesday, November 15, 2011. She was born to Henry and Anna (Beukema) Ringelberg on August 4, 1913, in Grand Rapids, MI. She moved to Battle Creek as a small child and attended Battle Creek Schools. She married Wendell Cope on May 16, 1936 in Battle Creek. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1983. She was a homemaker after her marriage. She is survived by sons, Richard W. Cope of Battle Creek, and Thomas Cope of Versailles, KY; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; a sister, Catherine R. Orns of Athens, MI. She was preceded in death by brothers, Gerald A. Ringelberg and Elvin G. Ringelberg; sisters, Josephine S. Woodin and Katherine Orns; a granddaughter, Julie E. Calvin. A private graveside service will be held and there will be no visitation. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
